Settled, rather subdued darker fruits, bit extracted, slight alcoholic burnt notes, some woody tones. Perfectly good wine, but unremarkable.

More lifted, red fruits dancing on the nose, jammy, compote, confected, fuller, doesn't hold back. Palate is generous, good width, nice fat acidity, really plenty of fruits, just good Aussie Shiraz. Still touch of tannins at the back, which together with the acidity should allow this to improve.
